We offer a hiking package of a week, in which we pick you up from the airport (and bring you back), organise the routes for you, arrange the transport to and from the walks and provide you daily with a lunch package, so that all you have to do is walk and get rid of that build up stress in your body.The hiking area of Sierra de Tejeda
The Sierra de Tejeda national park is a rugged mountainous area where you can enjoy beautiful hikes. You are very likely to see some wild mountain goats and the views are often a magnificent combination of jagged mountain peaks, the blue Mediterranean Sea, white mountain villages, wild nature, olive and avocado plantations and citrus trees.
The walks
The walks are medium-difficult, a good (mountain) walking condition and some experience in walking in the mountains is desirable. The hikes take between 2.5 and 5.5 hours with altitude differences between 250 and 1000 m. The level of difficulty is slowly increased and adjustments in order to meet your personal desires are always possible. At least one resting day is always included. Bring good walking shoes and walking sticks are recommended.
The price for this extensive walking package is only €580,- p.p. and includes:
• Maroma or Lucero room (2 persons) or apartment La Casita (3 or 4 persons), for 8 days or 7 nights;
• 6 Walking days and 1 rest day;
• Breakfast (only for Maroma and Lucero rooms), packed lunch on walking days, transport from and to Málaga airport, transport to and from the starting and finishing points of the walks, transfer to and from restaurants in Cómpeta;
• Route descriptions with map;
• Not included: flight to Málaga v.v., drinks, meals in restaurants and excursions on free and other days, insurances.
This hiking package can be booked:
-from mid-February to the end of June-from the 1st of September to the third week of November,
depending on the availability of the rooms for a minimum of 2 persons.
The package can be shortened or extended and adapted to your personal wishes. Want to book one or more days? The costs per person per night are € 35,- including breakfast. We are happy to advise you on activities in the area or excursions.
